Committee Job Description Shift Days and Times Uniform Required?
Course Marshals Enforce standard golf etiquette including control of spectator noise and movement during play; alert spectators and manage galleries when golf balls travel outside the ropes. Marshals are stationed on each green, tee, landing are and all crossovers. Golf knowledge not required. Course Marshal training will be provided prior to Tournament.

VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO WORK A MINIMUM OF 3 SHIFTS
Mon & Tues – 2 shifts starting at 7:30AM and 12:15PM
Wed – 3 shifts starting at 5:30AM, 7:30AM, and 12:15PM
Thursday – Sunday – 2 shifts starting at: 7:30 AM and 12:15 PM

Tickets Sell daily tickets, exchange coupons for daily tickets, handout pairing sheets and other printed materials.

Security Control spectator access at entrance gates and special venues by checking credentials, tickets, etc. Control spectator flow in high traffic areas around the clubhouse. Volunteers must be able to politely enforce policies, be comfortable in high traffic areas, and be on their feet for most or all of their shift.

Standard Bearers Walk with each player group and carry a score standard. Volunteer must be able to walk 18 holes and carry the aluminum sign weighing approximately 2 pounds. Volunteers must be 14 years or older.

Operations This committee is responsible for the placement, installation and removal of all facilities (structures) and equipment in support of the Tournament and associated special events. This includes the coordination of external contractors, vendors, equipment suppliers, and other support organizations. To this end, the committee is operational for a minimum five-week period: 3 weeks prior to Tournament week, during Tournament week, and 1 week after Tournament week.

Volunteer support of this committee offers a wide variety of opportunities in project management, event planning, event scheduling, and equipment logistics. There is a need for the following trades: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. Volunteer work schedules are individually established and lunches are provided for a very small nominal fee on days worked.

Raffle Tickets Sales of raffle tickets on-course during the tournament. Monday – Sunday AM and PM NO
Concessions Cook and serve food and beverages. Clean up daily. Set up and take down of tents before and after Tournament Week. Also, distribute all products on course. Mon thru Sun AM and PM NO
Mascot Create good will during the event. Escort and/or wear Tournament mascot, Dimples, an oversized golf ball. Escort accompanies mascot to various events and locations at the Tournament and passes out mascot stickers and tattoos to the public. Ideal mascot possesses a highly personable disposition and animated personality. Individuals must have the physical capability to wear an oversized golf ball head that is supported on your own shoulders for periods of 45 minutes to an hour. Must also be able to stand and or walk short distances while dressed in costume. Tuesday thru Sunday

Technology Set up of all on course technologies, including computers, televisions, and telephones. Work with vendors to set up all technology requirements. There may be some heavy lifting involved. Signs Obtain new sign requirements, modify existing signs, install signs on time, take down signs after the event. Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds and be willing to work with their hands. Work begins 4-6 weeks prior to the Tournament and continues 1 week after. NO
Dispatch Volunteers are expected to direct traffic using a red flag. Also in charge of securing Tournament areas during times between security coverage. Pitch-In Club
(Students)
An opportunity for students (12-21yrs.) to get involved volunteering. Students will have the chance to help out as needed in various areas, such as, standard bearer, walking scorer, raffle ticket sales, parking, ecology, ropes for crowd control, sports zone,etc. This is a great way to earn community service credit for school. Free t-shirt provided. Monday thru Sunday shifts start at 7 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m. Shifts are flexible depending on school exam schedule. Shift Times Flexible Free T-Shirt Provided
